Thermography – Invite

A really, really fast job came in to the office, after far too many ideas got produced I arrived at this; a reliable and pleasurable design solution – 1 colour on good stock and a nice process; this time Thermographic printing. I haven’t captured it brilliantly here but wanted to share. The thermo powder sticks to the still-wet ink and is then heated. It dries to a raised finish and gives a lovely shine to the inked areas, contrasting against the thick uncoated matt stock; looking elegant without the cost of engraving embossing tools.
